Safeguarding Children, Young People and Adults at Risk
Shenley Christian Fellowship is committed to providing a safe environment for everyone. We follow the latest Home Office safeguarding code of practice, and adopt the guidelines and procedures published by the Baptist Union of Great Britain in its latest safeguarding policy. As part of this, everyone who works with our children and young people (0 – 18 years) or vulnerable adults must undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and regular safeguarding training is provided for all workers and volunteers.
If you have any concerns about a child, young person or vulnerable adult at Shenley Christian Fellowship please contact the Designated Safeguarding Officer or one of the team, either via email at firstname.lastname@example.org (if your concern is not urgent) or by telephoning the mobile number below:
The safeguarding team are:
- Safeguarding Children Officer – Jo Franceschini
- Safeguarding Children Officer – Eileen Moore
- Safeguarding Adults Officer – Jenny Joyce
A copy of the full policy and procedures are available from the Shenley Christian Fellowship Church office.
