Seeking reassurance

While in hospital waiting for my hip replacement just before Christmas, the anaesthetist came and said he was going to do the operation under sedation. I completely went to pieces, as I really wanted a general anaesthetic. In my mind, sedation meant I would be awake but drowsy. I prayed so hard for God to send me assurance.

Shortly after, a male nurse came into my room and he had a tattoo on his neck written in Chinese. I asked him what it said. He told me it read: “Thy will be done”. I knew then that God had heard my prayer seeking reassurance and had sent me an answer! I did have a sedation and knew nothing until I woke up. Thank you Lord!
