Our fellowship is blessed with many children of all ages. We have an busy creche on Sunday mornings, and provide a full range of classes through "J-Team", our Junior Church (see below). We also run a free toddlers group (Acorns), and a separate mum's and babies group (Little Acorns) during the week - you can find more information about both of these groups on the Acorns page.

J-Team Groups for Younger Children

In J-Team (Junior Church) our children meet to worship and learn at a level appropriate to their age in various groups. The J-Team groups for the younger children are as follows:

         Creche: Up to 3 years old

         Bubbles: 3 year olds and Reception

         Splash: School years 1-3

         Xstream: School years 4-6

Child Protection Policy

We follow the "Safe to Grow" child protection policy devised by the Baptist Union. As part of this, everyone who works with our young people and children must undergo a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check and no member of the church staff should be alone with a child or young person in the course of any church activities. Margaret Jobling is our "children's advocate". Children involved in our activities are told that they can go to her to talk about any concerns they have about the way any adult is treating them.
