Our main weekly services are:
Double Sunday Morning services
Service 1: 9:15am – 10:45am
Refreshments & Fellowship: 10:45am – 11:15am
Service 2: 11:15am – 12:45pm
Sunday Evening service
6:30pm – 7:30pm
at: The Oak Tree Centre
Shenley Brook End
These are our main services and we try to balance the ingredients of worship, teaching and prayer. We start with the whole congregation together and after about 20 – 30 minutes children go out to ‘Transformers‘, our Sunday morning children’s church. The morning services include communion on the third Sunday each month.
Please note: All our Youth and Children’s ministry services take place during Service 2 (11:15am – 12:45pm)
Transformers takes place during Service 2 and is aimed towards 3 to 11 year olds. A team of skilled and trained children’s workers deliver high-energy sessions for all the children, which include; worship, teaching, games, arts, crafts, prayer and plenty of fun! The children are then divided into smaller groups to access age adjusted discussions and activities:
Bubbles: 3 year olds and Reception
Splash: School years 1 – 3
Xstream: School years 4 – 6
There is a crèche available for children up to 3 years old.
For older youths there is Engage, which is for school years 7 – 13, and runs every Sunday morning. These sessions include playing games, taking on challenges, learning from the Bible, and having a fun time getting to know God and how He can impact lives! Engage meets for an hour while the church service takes place in the main hall.
Usually a smaller congregation with a varied program including prayer, praise and communion on the first Sunday of the month.
Once every 3 months the members of SCF meet on a Wednesday evening to pray about the fellowship’s progress, to discuss issues, plans and make decisions together.
